Privacy Policy for Lungful

Lungful (“the app”, “we”, “us”) helps you quit vaping and nicotine by tracking your streak, money saved, cravings, and health milestones. We built Lungful to respect your privacy. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

The short version

Your data stays on your device and in your own iCloud account.
We do not collect, see, sell, or share your personal data.
There are no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
We have no servers and no user accounts.
Information you enter

To make the app work, you can enter information such as: your quit date, the product you used (e.g. vape, cigarettes), how much you used and its cost, your personal reason for quitting, and craving logs (intensity, triggers, notes). This is used only to calculate and display your progress inside the app.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored locally on your device. If you are signed into iCloud and have iCloud enabled for Lungful, your data is also synced through Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit) to your other devices using your own Apple ID. This data lives in your private iCloud container — we cannot access it. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Information we do not collect

We do not operate any servers and do not receive a copy of your data. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics.

Purchases

Optional subscriptions and purchases (Lungful Pro) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. Apple provides us only with anonymous, aggregated sales information. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules local reminders (e.g. milestone and check-in notifications) directly on your device. These are not sent through any external server.

Your choices and deleting your data

You can edit or clear your information at any time within the app.
Deleting the app removes its data from your device.
To remove synced data, delete the app’s data from iCloud via Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage on your device.
Children’s privacy

Lungful is intended for adults seeking to quit nicotine and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

Because your data stays on your device and in your private iCloud, it is protected by your device passcode/biometrics and your Apple ID security.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
